Are you a Resident of the City of Boscobel or surrounding townships impacted by the tornado on August 7, 2021? If so, applications are now available for a Tornado Relief Fund, created through the generosity of donors. The Tornado Relief Fund will be used to assist residents with unreimbursed expenses and unmet needs.
The Boscobel Area Long Term Recovery Committee is accepting applications through November 15, 2021, so they can disburse these donated funds to those in need. You can pick up an application at the Boscobel City Hall, 1006 Wisconsin Avenue, Boscobel, WI 53805, or download one here.
Examples of unmet needs include damages not reimbursed by insurance, loss of property or vehicles, loss of income or economic hardship, cleanup or tree removal expenses, temporary housing, and other expenses directly related to the tornado that haven’t been reimbursed through other sources.
Specific questions about the program can be directed to Grant County Emergency Management Director Steve Braun, sbraun@co.grant.wi.gov, or 608-723-7171. Completed applications can be dropped off at city hall, or emailed to sbraun@co.grant.wi.gov prior to November 15.
